Although we just got finished telling you to avoid naps, we didn’t say you should stay away from power naps either. Sometimes easier said than done, a 10-20 minute nap is a great way to recharge.
Believe it or not, but magnesium deficiency could actually be the culprit behind your exhaustion. Women need around 300mg per day, while guys need around 350. Whole grains, halibut, almonds, cashews, or hazelnuts are a few examples of foods that can give you the boost you need.
4. Stop skipping breakfast
As the saying goes Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and Dinner like a Beggar. This isn’t going to give you an immediate boost, but making sure you get the best meal possible in the morning. This will keep off the kind of exhaustion that can seriously intrude on the harmony of your life.
This is another long-term possibility that can still serve to increase your overall levels of energy, which should in turn lead to feeling less tired all of the time. 6. How’s the hydration?

If you try to use these sugar drinks to boost yourself past feeling tired in the morning, you may want to prepare yourself for a pretty severe crash later on.
10. Vitamin D
Coming from sunlight and similar sources, our bodies sometimes begin to slump due to the fact that we aren’t getting enough vitamin D. Try to get a little natural light into the room.
If you need to perk up, and you also really want to have a sweet snack, look into keeping some berries nearby. What kinds of berries improve energy levels? That’s the great part. It doesn’t really matter. All berries can work wonders as a pick-me-up.
12. Grab a shower?
Obviously, this isn’t something that you can do wherever you go, or whenever you want, but it can prove to give you a nice boost nonetheless. If you feel yourself beginning to get tired, and you can grab a quick shower, then it might not be the worst thing in the world to do exactly that.
13. Laughing your way out
Laughing is another way to get the right levels of energy kicking. However, everyone has limits, and abusing caffeine/coffee can wind up making you feel wearier than ever, and that’s before the caffeine crash kicks in.
